The village is a Large Lake located in Pavlodarskom the Gorky village Council district. Northern forest-steppe. North-East from Omsk to 80 km, 30 km South-West from the district center, the road is profiled. The nearest railway station -Kalachinsk — 66 km.

In 1913 the village had 7209,7 acres, including a convenient 5254.8 acres of land. The village is situated on a country road when a Large lake and the river Taruga. Before the revolution, the village belonged successively to the composition Syrovatskii, Kulikov and St. George townships. In 1917-1924 gg. —composed of Yuriev parish of Kalachinsk district of the Omsk province. Since 1924 — in Konikowska (Gorky) region.
The main occupation of the population — arable farming and animal husbandry. In the village there was a forge, windmills, from the beginning of the twentieth century — a private butter factory and Creamery, 1908 artisanal Creamery, the village was famous for the manufacture of sheepskins, sewing fur coats, felt boots production. In the village acted in a petty shop. In 1908 formed MacLaren. In 1912 in the village did the chapel in honour of the Kazan icon of the mother of God. Elementary school opened in 1924.
In 1897 lived 371 people, and in 1920 — 680 persons (125 households). In 1989 there were 185 people, and on January 1, 1995 —210 people.
In Soviet times the village was a branch of CJSC “Optical”. In 1930 organized agricultural co-operative “Young Farmer”. In 1950 became part of the consolidated farm “14 October”. In 1957, attached to the farm “intake”, and in 1971 became a part of the farm “Scenicheskih”.
In the village there is a primary school.
